This mezcal is bottled by Banhez: a cooperative of families, farmers and producers. It can take up to 25 years for the earthy, vegetal Tepeztate agave to come of age, which makes this varietal release all the more special. Wild-fermented and distilled with copper pot stills, this bottling shows lots of green pepper, crisp apple, smoke and citrus.
