Founded as recently as 2009 by Bertha González Nieves – the first female Maestra Tequilera – Casa Dragones has quickly established itself as one of the world’s leading brands of ultra-premium sipping Tequilas. Always made in limited batches from sustainably farmed, hand-harvested blue weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico, Casa Dragones Tequilas are the product of multiple distillations per column which helps to refine the spirit and create the smoothest possible sipping Tequila.
The core range is led by the Tequila Casa Dragones Joven – a fine sipping Tequila made made from a blend of silver and extra-aged Tequilas, the latter matured in new American oak barrels for five years. Made with cocktails in mind, Casa Dragones Blanco is produced without ageing, with the purpose of protecting the authentic tasting notes of the agave. Casa Dragones Anejo and Reposado styles are also available, along with special bottlings Tequila Casa Dragones Barrel Blend and Casa Dragones Reposado Mizunara. Description: Dubbed the “Tastemaker’s Top Tequila” by Forbes Magazine, Casa Dragones Joven is a small batch, master blend of 100% Blue Agave silver and extra aged tequila, rested in new American oak barrels for a complex, smooth taste that is perfect for sipping and pairing with food.
