On the 8th April 2015 this was the first cask we ever filled with our London Rye®. The first cask we ever filled with anything. This cask saw four prime ministers, two monarchs, three presidents, Brexit, Covid, England win the Euros, then said: ‘I’ve seen enough. Release me.’ This whisky spent over seven years at the distillery, exposed to the fluctuations in temperature and humidity of our working home, in a virgin American oak feuillette barrel with a heavy toast. This whisky marked the very first step of our journey with Rye and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Red velvet, almond, rosehip + mocha. Cherry, green apple, roasted pineapple + a christmas cake finish.
