Lagg Corriecravie 700ml

Introducing the second release in our core range of Single Malts from Lagg Distillery: the Lagg Single Malt Corriecravie Edition, available in limited quantities annually. The Corriecravie Edition starts its maturation journey in Bourbon Barrels and is then refined for about six months in Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads, sourced directly from the renowned producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. For this edition, we use Concerto malted barley and pure water from our own borehole. Our selected yeast and extended fermentation process help us achieve the full-bodied flavour that defines this whisky. This edition boasts a slightly richer taste profile compared to our Kilmory expression, highlighting notes of sweet spiced berries, dark chocolate and hazelnut. Bottled at 55% ABV, the Corriecravie Edition is crafted without chill filtration and contains no added color. Nose Dark chocolate and spiced red berries. Palate Rich and mouth watering with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut. Finish Charred Oak, Smoke, Hazelnut, Dark chocolate, Sweet Spice.
