Viña Pomal Reserva Rioja 750ml 750ml

Viña Pomal Reserva is a Tempranillo red wine from Bodegas Bilbaínas, founded in 1901 in Haro, Rioja Alta. Made from grapes grown on the winery's own 90-hectare estate near the Ebro river, it undergoes a moderately long maceration and 18 months in American oak barrels (20% new), followed by at least two years of bottle aging before release. Intense cherry red with a marked ruby rim, it shows floral and red-fruit notes balanced by sweet spices, vanilla and roasted coffee, with a persistent, elegant finish typical of great Riojas. Pairs well with rice dishes, vegetables, game and red meats.
